    How does interakt's 14-day free trial work?

    In this 14-day trial period you get access to the entire stack of power-packed features on interakt for FREE. You get to use all the top-notch features and even if your Facebook business verification is pending, you still get to explore the inbox with limited messaging options.

    Before you complete the Facebook business verification process, Whatsapp will approve your number to be used for sending messages in a restricted manner.Facebook permits businesses to get started right away with limited messaging options, so that businesses can explore how WhatsApp Business APIs can power-up communication and customer engagement.     What are the messaging restrictions during the 14-day free trial period?

    During the 14-day free trial period, while you will have FREE access to all the amazing features on interakt, there will be certain restrictions on messaging for businesses whose Facebook Verification is pending. These are-

    >  You can receive an unlimited number of messages from your users but you can only chat with 10 unique users per day during this period.

    > You can send notifications to 2 unique users in a day. Notifications can be sent using WhatsApp templates that are pre-approved by Facebook.

    How can I unlock unlimited messaging on interakt?

    To be able to make the best use of interakt, get started with your Facebook Business Verification process right away. As soon as your business gets verified, the messaging restrictions will be lifted and you’ll be able to use interakt with unlimited access. The best part is that until you’re in the free trial, you don’t need to first pay us to start utilizing unlimited messaging.

    How does interakt's pricing work?

    For WhatsApp Business API, there are two components to the pricing:

    1. Monthly subscription for interakt’s Whatsapp API is Rs. 999/month. This is our introductory pricing and includes all our currently available features. With this introductory pricing, you will also also get access to all the new features that we release in the future.
    The Rs. 999 subscription lets you manage WhatsApp relations with 2000 unique users in a given month. Post 2000 unique users, the following per user billing rates apply:

    2,000-10,000 --------> Re 1/active user
    10,000+ ---------------> Re 0.5/active user

    2. WhatsApp charges: These are billed on actuals.  When you send a template message they are chargeable if your customer has not spoken to you in the last 24 hours. We pass these charges on actuals to you. For India (country code +91), the notification cost is ~30p/notification. However, when a customer initiates a message, you can reply within 24 hours for free.

    Is there a $ pricing?

    All our plans are billed in INR. If you wish to pay in a different currency, you can estimate the approximate cost of our subscriptions based on the conversion rates.

    For reference, Rs 999/month would be $15/month.

    Tell me more about interakt's subscription charges and what is an active monthly contact/user?

    interakt’s Whatsapp business pricing is designed to be aligned with your usage of the product. We support unlimited logins enabling all your team members to reach out to your customers using interakt’s inbox or notifications.

    interakt’s usage is calculated based on the number of unique active customers that you reach out to via interakt in a given month. An active monthly contact is defined as a user with which you have at least one successfully delivered incoming or outgoing message.

    A unique active monthly contact first gets deducted from the 2000 limit/cap included in the standard plan at no additional cost. Any further exchanges with the same unique active contact within that billing cycle will have no impact on your interakt billing component. This 2000 limit resets itself at the start of every billing cycle. 
    If exceeded, charges are:

    2,000-10,000 --------> Re 1/active user
    10,000+ ---------------> Re 0.5/active user

    * For Shopify store owners on interakt, if your billing is managed via Shopify, then the above costs in rupees will be charged to you in USD, as per the current exchange rates.

    What does no surcharge on WhatsApp charges mean?

    When you send a notification to your customer via WhatsApp APIs, they are chargeable if your customer has not spoken to your WhatsApp number in the last 24 hours . WhatsApp allows a free form chat window (Customer Care Window) only when the customer initiates a conversation / responds to a notification for a 24 hour period as per the user's last message. Any message sent beyond 24 hours by the business can be a WhatsApp template only and this is chargeable based on the country code of the recipient. We pass these charges on actuals to you.

    But WhatsApp is free. What does WhatsApp charges mean?

    When you send a notification to your customer via WhatsApp Business APIs, they are chargeable if your customer has not spoken to your WhatsApp number in the last 24 hours. The charges depend on the country code of your customers’ WhatsApp account. We pass these charges on actuals to you.

    * For Shopify store owners on interakt, if your billing is managed via Shopify, then the above costs in rupees will be charged to you in USD.

    How many team members can I add to my interakt account?

    interakt supports unlimited team member logins in any pricing plan that we offer. You can add as many team members as you need for your business.

    How are monthly active contacts calculated?

    An active monthly contact is defined as a user with which you have at least one successfully delivered incoming or outgoing message. The count is reset every month.

    The Rs. 999 plan has 2,000 such unique monthly contacts included in it. Post which the following per-user pricing is applied in the month where you exceed the built-in usage:

    2,000-10,000 --------> Re 1/active user
    10,000+ ---------------> Re 0.5/active user

    You can have as many chats as you want with an active monthly contact and it will not impact your billing. When you send a notification to your customer via WhatsApp Business APIs, they are chargeable if your customer has not spoken to your WhatsApp number in the last 24 hours. Any message sent after that is free of cost. So you pay 30 paise only for that first message and all incoming or outgoing messages after that are free.

    How can I get the WhatsApp Business Verified green tick?

    Businesses that have been granted the Official Business Account (OBA) status on WhatsApp, get a green tick besides their business name. This results in the display name of the number being shown by default, without the WhatsApp business number being explicitly saved by your users.

    As we are a WhatsApp Business solution provider, we can apply for the Whatsapp green tick on your behalf for free, once you have moved to paid subscription with interakt. However, we can not influence WhatsApp's decision with regard to approving your green tick. Their decision in this regard would be final. Multiple factors such as brand credibility, your following on social media, listing in external media and your domain ranking can influence your green tick approval.

    To request for a green tick verification, you can simply connect with our support team and send in a request. It normally takes about 3 business days to get the approval. Once your request for the green tick is approved, your number will automatically be displayed as your business name, to your users along with the green tick. This will show that your business is verified.

    If your application for the green tick is rejected, it does not impact your ability to use interakt or WhatsApp business API.

    Can I use my existing WhatsApp number with interakt?

    Yes, you can use an existing WhatsApp number with interakt. However, you will need to first delete the account linked to that, prior to onboarding with interakt. 

    Once we connect the number with interakt, the number is officially marked as a Whastapp API number. WhatsApp does not support downgrading (moving to a WhatsApp standard or a WhatsApp business account) once the number is officially linked /upgraded to WhatsApp API status. However, migration is supported. Once moved to WhatsApp API and linked to interakt, the number can be accessed on interakt only.

    If it is a virtual number that is tied to interakt, then normal voice calls can be made as usual, but WhatsApp voice and video calls cannot be supported via WhatsApp Business API.

    What number can I use on interakt?

    When it comes to selecting a number to be used for interakt, you can use any valid number that can receive an OTP via SMS or a voice call. This could be a virtual number or a regular SIM number. If you have an existing Whatsapp API account with some provider, you can now migrate it to interakt.
