Interakt Copilot is a built-in AI assistant that generates complete WhatsApp campaign templates — including a promotional image and message body — from a single plain-language prompt. This guide walks you through the end-to-end flow: from writing your prompt to getting your template approved and ready to send.

1. Navigate to Campaigns

Log in to your Interakt account. From the left sidebar, click the Campaigns icon (the megaphone). You’ll land on the Campaigns dashboard, which lists all your existing WhatsApp campaigns across One-Time, Ongoing, and API tabs.

2. Open the AI Campaign Creator

In the top-right corner of the Campaigns page, click Create WhatsApp Campaign. A modal dialog will appear with three options:

Generate Campaign with AI — Describe your idea and let Copilot build the image and message.

Use Active Templates / Enable Shopify Campaigns — Use Sample ideas or choose from your Active Template list

Build a Campaign from Scratch — Full manual control over every field.

For this guide, we’ll use the “Generate Campaign with AI” option at the top.

3. Describe your campaign idea

In the text field under “Describe your campaign idea & AI will generate the image & content”, type a short description of what you want to promote. Be specific: mention your store name, the offer, and the deadline.

Example prompt used in the video:

“create a promotional campaign for my 61Store offering a 30% off until 14th June 2026”

You can also click one of the pre-built prompts (e.g., Grocery Shopping Reminder, New Product Launch, Seasonal Sale Alert) to auto-populate an example prompt and get started faster.

When ready, click Generate Campaign with AI.

4. Wait for AI Generation

A progress screen appears showing “Creating something special for you” with a percentage bar. This typically takes up to 2 minutes. Interakt Copilot is simultaneously generating a branded promotional image and writing the WhatsApp message body based on your prompt.

Don’t close the tab while generation is in progress. If you accidentally close it, you can check on any pending template from the campaign creation modal — a “Your previously created template is currently under review” notice will appear with a Check Status button.

5. Review your generated template

Once generation completes, the modal switches to “See your AI generated Template!” displaying a preview of the full WhatsApp message: a promotional banner image at the top, followed by the message body with your offer details, CTA button, and any footer text.

From this screen you have two quick actions on the right:

Refine with AI — Use the Copilot chat panel to tweak the image or text.
Edit Template — Open the full template editor to manually adjust any field

  • Refine with the Copilot Panel

Click Refine with AI to open the Interakt Copilot side panel. Here you can send follow-up instructions in plain language. For example, type a request to change the image style, update the headline color, or modify the message tone — and Copilot will regenerate accordingly.

After each refinement, the template preview updates live. When Copilot regenerates the image, you’ll see a confirmation message and a View Preview link. You can respond with “I liked it” to accept or “No, revert changes” to go back.

Daily prompt limit: Copilot shows your daily prompt usage (e.g., “6/10 of your daily prompts used”). Plan your refinements accordingly — use specific, detailed instructions to get the result you want in fewer iterations.

  • Edit the Template Manually (Optional)

If you prefer fine-grained control, click Edit Template to open the full template editor. From here you can:

Swap the header image (must be under 5 MB), or switch to Text, Video, or Document headers.
Edit the message body directly — add bold/italic formatting, insert variables like {{1}} for personalization.
Add an optional Footer line below the message.
Check the live phone preview on the right to see exactly how the message will look to recipients.

6. Submit for WhatsApp Approval

When you’re satisfied with the template, click Submit Template for Approval at the bottom of the preview screen. WhatsApp reviews all new message templates before they can be sent to customers.

Approval is typically fast (often under a few minutes). Once approved, a green banner notification appears at the top of the screen: “Template Approved!” along with a Send Campaign button.

While you wait: If approval takes longer, you can check your template’s status from the campaign creation modal using the Check Status button — no need to leave the Campaigns page.

7. Send your campaign

Click “Send Campaign” from the approval notification (or locate your campaign in the Campaigns list and set it live from there). Your newly created campaign will appear in the Campaign list with status details, including Attempted, Sent, Delivered, Read, and Replied rates.
