With this new feature, you can:

-Manage chats from both Interakt and WhatsApp Business App

-Instantly sync contact changes (like adding or editing contacts) across both platforms

-Send and receive messages in real time, from either side

This is a huge step toward simplifying your operations and giving you full control over your WhatsApp communications — without compromising on convenience.

Requirements Before You Start

Before you connect your number, make sure:

✅ Your number is already active on the WhatsApp Business App

✅ You’re not using a virtual number or a personal WhatsApp account

✅ Your business has Facebook Business Manager account

Step-by-Step Guide: How to Connect

Follow these simple steps to set up the connection:

1. Log in to your Interakt Dashboard

Visit app.interakt.ai and sign in.

2. Click ‘Connect Your Number’

You’ll find this button on your main dashboard.

3. Tick the Consent Box

Agree to the terms and hit Continue.

4. Choose Your Location & Upload GST Certificate

Verification with Meta requires a GST certificate. Upload it and proceed.

5. Enter Your Business Details

Fill in your:

-Business Name

-Business Category

-Address

Then click Next.

6. Log in with Facebook

You’ll be redirected to log in. Once done, select your Business Portfolio.

7. Choose Existing WhatsApp Business App

When prompted, select the option to connect your existing WhatsApp Business App.

8. Add Your WhatsApp Business Number

Enter the exact phone number already linked to your WhatsApp Business App.

⚠️ Note: If the number doesn’t match with your Whatsapp Business App , the ‘Next’ button will remain disabled.

9. Verify with a Code

You’ll receive a 6-digit code on your WhatsApp. Enter it to verify.

10. Confirm Your WhatsApp Business Account Name

Review the account name shown, then proceed.

Final Step: Scan the QR Code

You’ll receive a message from Facebook on your WhatsApp Business App.

-Click “Scan QR” inside the message

-Scan the QR code live (screenshots won’t work)

Once successful, you’ll see:

“You are now ready to chat with people on WhatsApp.”

Click Finish and you’ll be redirected to Interakt — with your number now connected. ✅

What Happens After Setup?

Once you’re connected:

-Any changes to your Whatsapp Business App  contacts (add/edit/delete) made post number connection to interakt will automatically reflect in your Interakt dashboard

-Messages sent from Interakt will appear in your WhatsApp Web in real-time — and vice versa. You can view and reply to conversations from either Interakt or your mobile app. The data remains synced between the platforms.
